You can probably see from the pictures that a big storm rolled in as we helplessly watched. We did have a few periods of non rain...and enjoyed a gorgeous drive down the Pacific Coast Highway. Unfortunately I didn't get to take any photographs of the beautiful scenery - my camera died. So sad...it may be time for a new camera......and another trip to Carmel!

Our kids threw Royce and me a Surprise 25th Anniversary Party this past Saturday Night!
I love my kids...they were sneaky but in a good way! We had a wonderful party with all our dearest family and friends. Thanks so much to Christianne and Ryan B., Leslie, Ryan, Sean, my Mom and Dad, Jason, Chris.....and all of you who came and shared the party with us. It was very sweet and Royce and I will never forget it.
(Caleen...I have not a single picture of you and me! Sorry! We need to take one of us together the next time we go out!)

I've Been Tagged!
My friend Krysta tagged me...Here's how you play:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player tags 4 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they are tagged.
10 years ago I was: I was a mother to 3 kids at that time. Sean hadn't been born yet, obviously. Christi was in jr. high, Leslie was in elementary school and Ryan was still at home with me. I was probably driving around alot in our blue Mazda van and attending sports and cheerleading events my girls were involved in. I had long hair and I was probably 30 pounds lighter than i am today...sniff sniff.
5 things on my to do list today:
1.I made dinner - which is always a momentous event since I cook so infrequently.
2.I cleaned the kitchen
3.Washed and folded clothes
4. Watched a movie "It Happened One Night" with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.
5. Relaxed by knitting for a couple of hours.
IO things I would do if I became a billionaire:
I'd pay off all my bills. We would have a house built by the ocean....and every year or two, I'd pay for my entire family to go on amazing trips all over the world together. I would also love to just randomly give away money to unsuspecting people that I know are struggling.
3 of my bad habits:
1. not exercising enough
2. not getting to bed early enough
3. eating too much chocolate
5 places I've lived:
1. Fresno
2.Provo,Utah
3.Weber, Utah
4.Fresno
5.Clovis.
5 jobs I've had:
1. Receptionist
2. Waitress (2 different restaurants)
3. Receptionist again
4. Grocery Store Bag girl
5. Jewelry maker
Something most people don't know about me: I love to watch people and notice things about them and try to imagine what their life is like. I like to think that I'm not just a nosey person - instead, I'm an untrained, unpaid "Profiler".
I tag...
1. Caleen
2. Britten
3. Stella
4. Breena

"You have as great an opportunity for satisfaction in the performance of your duty as I do in mine. The progress of this work will be determined by our joint efforts. Whatever your calling, it is as fraught with the same kind of opportunity to accomplish good as is mine. What is really important is that this is the work of the Master. Our work is to go about doing good as did He."
