I am a Grandma now...therefore, it is not a silly investment to purchase a bubble machine....

Royce thought it was a wacky thing to buy...but I knew that it would cause such a wonderful reaction. I actually find it quite enjoyable myself....to sit amidst swirling bubbles. It's a great way to feel like a kid again.

Kim, you are a great Grandma... How
fun to have a bubble machine. I love
bubbles too, they bring back fun
memories. I think we are just kids
at heart. You take such good pictures. I am so amazed by you...
Have a good night :)

A friend had one of those going at a birthday party and I loved it! It makes your backyard into a fairytale!

The bubbles looks so fun!!

My calling right now is to do the Sunday sacrament programs. And I always have a quote on the front cover from a prophet or general authority, etc.
I know that you always have such wondeful quotes on your blog, so i was wondering if you have a good quote related to mothers for this mothers day sunday program?

Hey Emily....here's one from Pres. Hinckley:

"Women for the most part see their greatest fulfillment, their greatest happiness in home and family. God planted within women something divine that expresses itself in quiet strength, in refinement, in peace, in goodness, in virtue, in truth, in love. And all of these remarkable qualities find their truest and most satisfying expression in motherhood."

Em...here's another one:
(also from Pres. Hinckley)
" May the Lord bless you, my beloved sisters. You are the guardians of the hearth. You are the bearers of the children. You are they who nurture them and establish within them the habits of their lives. No other work reaches so close to divinity as does the nurturing of the sons and daughters of God."

Here's another from David O. McKay:
“Motherhood is the greatest potential influence either for good or ill in human life. The mother's image is the first that stamps itself on the unwritten page of the young child's mind. It is her caress that first awakens a sense of security; her kiss, the first realization of affection; her sympathy and tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world.”
( Gospel Ideals, [1953], 452.)

Kim, Thanks for those quotes. I love them all! The hardest part will be choosing one. I'm leaning toward 2nd one -- it's really sweet.

Makes me exciting for the time I will have children (hopefully soon) :)
