...but NOT Santa!!!
Isn't it sad how Royce is pushing Sean towards Santa when he's obviously so scared of him? The things we parents do in the name of "Holiday Fun"...no wonder we all grow up warped...afraid of clowns, etc.

Okay Jones Girls!!! (and Chris too!) - what on earth did i do to deserve these gorgeous roses today????
I have clipped leaves, and wiped away tears for 20 minutes - tears of joy! Thank you so much. I love you all so much and not just because of the roses...but because of what the roses represent. Merry Christmas to all of you as well. Thank you Thank you! That was the most wonderful surprise I've had in a long long long long time!

Yes...Christi is seen here sitting on her own mountain of gifts...
WE were all finished opening our presents...but the little tyke had so many unopened gifts that she ended up sitting on them and only wanted to play with the snap together giant beads (in fact she would cry when we'd try to get her to open other packages)....ah the days of the First Grandchild. I learned from this experience...that is why Baby Grant is only getting the Winnie the Pooh Lamp he wanted for his bedroom and the matching curtains. heehee..next year may be different...maybe a mini Hummer.....
This was the year Christi DIDN'T cry at Santa...
it was also the year that she cut her bangs on one side to the scalp...but it had pretty much grown all the way out by the time this photo was taken.

Christmas Began with a Baby
"At the focal point of all human history, a point illuminated by a new star in the heavens revealed for just such a purpose, probably no other mortal watched--none but a poor young carpenter, a beautiful virgin mother, and silent stabled animals who had not the power to utter the sacredness they had seen. Shepherds would soon arrive and later, wise men from the East. Later yet the memory of that night would bring Santa Claus and Frosty and Rudolph--and all would be welcome. But first and forever there was just a little family, without toys or trees or tinsel. With a baby--that's how Christmas began.
"It is for this baby that we shout in chorus: 'Hark! The herald angels sing Glory to the newborn King! Mild he lays his glory by, Born that man no more may die; Born to raise the sons of earth, Born to give them second birth' ( Hymns, no. 209)."

The crowds came out last night at the kareoke bar where i sing...
and here i am with my blond wig and my low rise jeans...oh...and my band.
JUST KIDDING. I took Leslie to see Kelly Clarkson last night. I kept my earplugs in the entire time to keep the youthful screaming out of my brain. For a second...did you all think it could have possibly been me? (say yes)

Royce deciding it was time to read Grant a story...
as you can tell...Grant was very interested...more in his surroundings than in a book...but they were both having fun.
